Banned Books
Der Bookstore von Felix Jud wird eine Woche lang zum Refugium für verbannte Bücher: wir präsentieren Titel, die derzeit aus Bibliotheken oder Lehrplänen entfernt oder die in einem Land überhaupt nicht in Umlauf gebracht werden dürfen. In einer Sonderausgabe der Reihe "Let's talk books!" stellen Fellows des THE NEW INSTITUTES je eines dieser Bücher vor, das ihnen besonders am Herzen liegt. Wie immer bei diesem Format sind alle zum Mitmachen und Mitreden eingeladen - eigene Beiträge dürfen bzw. sollen gerne mitgebracht werden! (Eine Anmeldung ist nicht erforderlich, das Event findet in englischer Sprache statt.) For one week, the Felix Jud Bookstore will serve as a refuge for banned books: we present titles that are currently being removed from libraries or curricula or that are not allowed to be circulated in a country at all. In a special edition of the "Let's talk books!" series, fellows of THE NEW INSTITUTE will each present one of these books that is particularly close to their hearts. As always with this format, everyone is invited to join in and share their thoughts - feel free to bring your own contributions! (Registration is not required, the event will be held in English).
